I really find incline press with the bar one of the most awkward exercises to do, I hate literally everything about it

Not deeper. Bar touched chest. For the dumbells the rubber touched the chest but I noticed the metal handle was on chest level or higher. The reason it feels better with dumbells is that you can more freely, open out and close in, ever so slightly your chest by squeezing and bringing your hands together slightly, but on the bar your hands can not go out or in, maybe you elbows but that will do more harm than good, and is unstable.

Long as your reps are between 2 to 8 seconds. You can still get hypertrophy.. dont kill yourself going slowmo like this guy.

I find the barbell one gives me more stability. My gym’s dumbbell max weight is only 65lbs so I can’t go heavy with it.
