I don't get the hiccups, but I burp when my pouch is satisfied. It took me a few tries to get rid of "but I'm not done" syndrome and my pouch taught me that she is in control. Congratulations on being able to keep everything down, I wasn't as lucky. I'm almost 6 weeks post-op and still getting used to regular foods. I have lifelong adversions to some of the suggested foods (i.e. cottage cheese and Greek yogurt), so I'm still trying to put together a meal plan with the appropriate amount of proteins. I can't wait to see some of your meal ideas. While I do still eat meat, I'm not against meatless meals.

Did the doctor recommend gastric bypass vs sleeve because you had acid reflux before?. I'm considering sleeve but I have bad acid reflux.

Thanks for this video! May I ask, did you have to take meds home after surgery to address blood clot prevention? I see that some folks are taking some kind of injection at home after surgery to prevent blood clots. Others I think may take something orally. Do you have any insights on this?
