I watched this video a year ago when I was looking into surgery. Now im 6 days po and watching it again and trying not to laugh (as it hurts a little 😂) as i fully relate. Especially the watching food knowing damn well you cannot eat it. Yesterday i even picked up my husbands fork just so i could move the food around on the plate and get a good look.

Meeting with the Surgeon next week. The Surgery discussion was a surprise because I was seeing her for my hernias. I previously had a lap band, but it failed. She strongly suggested this surgery because of my age and other health conditions I have. So I want to Thank you for the details you put forth in your vlogs. It gives me comfort and hope.

Hi! I'm one-week post-op and I had a similar experience. For sleep comfort, I find using a body pillow very helpful for side sleeping. I hug the body pillow and my stomach feels supported. Best wishes on your journey!
