28:18 really hit home. I experienced this at my former workplace with the CFO - he had a lot of authority but was not a leader. In fact he spent most of his time orchestrating the breakdown of teams under his authority in the meantime claiming the prize for the overall performance of the function & collecting the largest bonuses.

It gave me too much stress I'm glad I left. But I forgave him because I realized it must have been God's way of teaching me how not to be a leader. I now have my own company and leveraging on that experience.

I love this!! This talk is from 6 years ago.. way before The Infinite Game and it is exactly the concept he is talking about! Before he even came up with the concept for his book, Simon was teaching about playing the infinite game!! Wonderful!

I love listening to his talks, because. I together so much from it. Many talks out there are blurbs, none factual, one side analysis. He talks like "he's looking at a box from multiple angles, seeing it differently from each side", non-judge mental, just factual. He's a visionary, well-informed in politics, economy & subjects that concern us all. Effective in every way.
