Love the analogy on Siblings where emotions must be unconditional in leadership. Some misunderstanding must not close the relationship and must be towards overall wishing for the person's success at all times. The element on consistency is mandatory like in all things in leadership too.

Consistency is a fantastic notion, but you can Consistently do/say/practice the wrong thing as well. When I work with teams, I personally preach Consistently being Consistent in doing the right things.

I just started leading young kids. That was encouraging to hear because my natural personality is not being a leader, but it was something my daughter volunteered me for.
