To be honest, I think a big reason why people eat their feelings is because of how some processed animal products activate the same part of the brain as drugs, so once you go cold turkey you can be less addicted to it. I used to be addicted to cheese and candy and binged all the time but since going WFPB, i don't really turn to food as emotional support anymore. I think a lot of people are like i was and think it's all their fault and there's something wrong with them when in reality their bodies are reacting naturally to substances intended to be addictive.

I ate 3 Toblerone pieces 600 cals and I burn about that a day walk 6 hours a day. I realise my thyroid is underactive by now and I shouldn't feel bad about 600 calories I eat only 800 total eating more makes problem worse. for a 6 hour walk or im eating more than I thought. Im small though. Hip measured 30. That was a reduction but gained 5 pounds with extra training. I have a stressful home life. Have ptsd. Something freaked me out. My thyroid meds were reduced and a 1kg gain weekly does not make sense but it might be the trip to the restaurant once every two weeks. Must have had three thousand calories a slice of cake. I have stopped the take away. I have a six pack and dont want to lose it.

The best thing to do is satisfy occasional cravings, in fact, that’s part of a healthy diet. It’s ok to cheat every once in a while and eat some cake. Cravings are good when they don’t get overpowering and help our bodies reward themselves.

If I want cake, pasta, ice cream or anything I will let myself have it I just have to let myself know when I’m full restricting myself will make me binge later it’s not worth it
