There is a time to multitask and a time to pace yourself.
A little hurry is NOT a bad thing. Too many jobs are having to hire people who are slow and lazy. It sucks when you just want to get home from a long day and relax....but you can't because the clerk at the store is too relaxed to do an efficient job.
