HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

We have the answer about the DLC Body/Voice Packs, and there's a leak about an Arm Wrestling Machine and a drivable flying vehicle. It is still unclear whether the flying vehicle is a stratagem or not. Either or I am ecstatic.

Transmog doesn't mean color/pattern customization. Transmog is changing the physical shape of the armor model while keeping the stats/effects of another armor model. Which is completely different from color customization. Glitch seems to think they're synonymous but the tweet from Pilestedt at 6:12 is completely irrelevant to any speculation about armor color customization / color matching specifically. I don't know why Pilestedt's reason for not wanting transmog would cast doubt about implementing an unrelated and much more sought after feature.

Just wanted to say thanks for continuing to put out HD2 content when a lot of other YouTubers have stopped at this point. I get why some people have stopped putting out HD2 content, but I still play the game everyday and I'm still interested in watching videos about it.

I really hope they just keep the base body customization, I mean it states that people of fair health can join and I don't think being overweight is exactly fair health. But yeah voice packs would be cool, it would go to show that every Helldiver you throw at the heavy nest was a person.

Active/seperate tracking, rather than aggro-ing on every diver, would be a nice addition. Not only would it allow for more diverse stealth tactics, but they could also add an interrogation feature for the illuminate so they have to read your mind to see the location of other divers.

I'm mixed on different armor colors because I think it would be cool to give them a personal twist and I'd like that, but Helldivers is clearly making fun of fascism which discourages individuality, so personal armor would work against the themes of the game. Although I think i would be happy either way

people need to think more about the questions they ask devs. Transmog is a completely different concept than just customizing colors. Transmog implies you're going to make light armor look like heavy armor. Also, we're unlikely to ever see new body types, voices are easy, the hard part being referenced is that a new body type would require the artists to go back and build a new version of EVERY armor in the game to fit the new body type.

I want more interesting missions to do on planet. Building a mini base. Hunting a rare elite. Getting a certain amount of kills with experimental weapons.

Maybe even a squad member can break from group to run a nearby outpost that adds additional planetary call ins for his squad as long as he remains at outpost and defend it from small bug attacks.
