HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

I don't know if I'd want to see a crossover with Star Wars with how Disney's f*cked that franchise.

Although, it would be amusing to use a flamethrower on a jedi while shouting, "Parry THAT you filthy wizard!"

Taking a bit of a break from playing helldivers right now too. There is not really anything to do right now for me. Yes, I could just play missions which ever I like help with the order. But it feels kind of doing it for nothing. I am maxed out on Samples, Requisitions, Medals. I unlocked everything in every Warbond, I pretty much own every armor from the Super Store. So there is really nothing to work for besides level.

I just need more variety. For me feels like missions can be categorized into 2 types for the most part. And it would be nice to have completely different content like long raids with interesting puzzles (something like Destiny) or just straight up Bosses and maybe later on introduce them as a new mob on a new higher difficulties to introduce more replayability. Its just my opinion tho. Just guns/stratagems and patches will not get me back for a while thats for sure

Some things to note as we move forward
New CEO is from paradox who was a bit of a mess
Also 177 countries still bilcked and only Johan seemed to care.
New CEO is the guy who wanted community notes on steam to reduce the impact of down votes over playstation linking. Not sure thated work how he thinks tho 😂
I think its imporyant to consider his history as we see how they move forward.
Gonna be a wild ride divers time to buckle in and stock up on Liber-Tea 😊

Starship troopers, Alien vs. predator, Starcraft, or any other game that is similar to this, I would be bordering on being ok with. Still iffy about crossovers tho tbh.

Best crossover? Starship troopers (kinda). Make a npc you have to protect called either: Rickert Johnson. Or Lizzy.

No crossovers. Breaks lore and hd2 lore is pretty damn solid

It makes sense to want two of your favorite games come together but the universe that we play in and the way the community even communicates is a special kind of atmosphere. I feel crossover would be tricky to pull off while keeping that Helldivers atmosphere intact.

You probs know this, but a tip for the auto-cannon, reload when the ammo indicator is half empty, drastically reduces the reload time.

It just seems that when asked or prompted arrowhead always goes “yea there’s so much more” or they leak an image or leak a possible expansion yet nothing tangible has been released. It gets tiring

I quickmatched into a difficulty 6 bug extermination mission to help low levels and the 3 divers on planet had 7 bile titans on them in that small ass map. That HAS to be fixed

The reason i stopped playing is the state of primary weapons. Keep in mind im 300hrs in, so im sick of using all the weapons that actually work.

The only crossover I want to see is when it comes to xbox and we got odst armor sets.
