Before eating the proper human diet when I was asked if I was hungry my response was "perpetually".
I am no longer a slave to hunger.

Our parents had it half right.
They used to say if your hungry you will be happy to eat vegetables, otherwise you are bored not hungry.
Well when I ask myself now am I hungry enough to eat that leftover from lunch piece of meat, usually the answer is NO

I didn't do carnivore diet for weight loss, but I am a carb junkie even though I've never had a weight problem. I was always hungry and wanted to eat. I discovered for me adding dairy in any form kept me hungry. Once I stopped adding butter and aged Guda and just eat the fat from my steak or add tallow now I'm no longer hungry all the time 🤔

Been LC/Keto for 6 years 10/2024. Rarely hungry, many times I have to ask myself if I ate or forget to eat. All the best ❤

in my experience the right answer is "very little, and not too frequently" and this will trigger all of the people out there who call it an eating disorder, but we have many hundreds of thousands of stored calories and even stored vitamins deposited in our cells and tissue, we can go without for quite a while. most hunger and eating habits are social constructs or emotionally driven and its scary, but extremely empowering, to detach from that and just go by hunger, and eating only "real" food. following those basic principles changed everything for me

Love carnivore! If I'm not hungry for meat, I'm not hungry, and find something else to do. So simple.

I totally agree, of I have a heavy lunch I just can't have dinner. Not sure what it is but my body needs time to fit more food into my stomach.

As little as possible is far apart as possible, your body needs much less than you think. If you’re not eating carbohydrates, you’re not gonna be starving all the time I’ll be able to go much longer stretches.

Take less than half what you THINK you want, eat slowly, chew slowly, with sips of barely cool water, and stop when you're SATISFIED. NOT FULL. Eat what your body NEEDS and not what you're body wants. 😊❤

Malnutrition is a carbohydrate diet. That's how you can be obese and staving at the same time.

I've cut back on dairy. Still eating 3 eggs a day, Carnivore for 10 months) no cottage. Cheese... but I do still have a tablespoon of heavy cream in my 1 cup of morning coffee. Some things Im not quite ready to let go of.

Dear Doctor C, would you apply this to the over 65 group as well? What about muscle deterioration? And as long as we are eating an appropriate diet, can we still let our quantity eaten be guided by appetite?
And lastly on this topic, if we really only need much smaller portions of food each day, does that mean all the RDAs for daily micronutrients and calories are being greatly overstated as well? Bc with less food, we will be ingesting not just fewer macronutrients but much fewer micronutrients and calories as well!
Until your latest video about this, btw, the ONLY doctor I ever heard making this claim about protein needs was Dr. Gundry, who says we really don't need more than about 30 g of protein a day. Even the longevity specialists Longo and Sinclair don't go that low, altho' Sinclair says the only dietary rule that consistently led to longevity in mice was one meal a day!
But Longo recommends .31 to .37 g protein for each pound of body weight, which is about twice what Gundry recommends. And consequently, I had lost some trust in Dr. Gundry, for whom I once had great respect.
Now that you seem to be confirming his protein recommendations, however, I am suddenly wondering about his other claim that no one in our carnivore community has addressed as yet - at least no one I have heard. And that is his claim that beef, lamb and pork ALL contain a "sugar molecule" that in our bodies can cause heart disease, strokes and cancer!
So could you please, please, please address this claim...or at least investigate it for us, and see whether all of the Carnivore influencers, including yourself, have been getting that "wrong" as well?
Thank you so much in advance. And in any case, thank you so much for your impressive honesty and integrity. You are one of a handful of doctors that I truly trust.

Am a Muslim, and we have a rule in our religion but many people don't take it, it said that we don't eat unless we hungry, and if we do and we are we should never get full.
