Tiff, when I was taken to church as a child, I was taught that I would not get to heaven if I didn't get baptized. My dad still believes this today. Even more-so than he did. I appreciate this lesson. I have been baptized but I know I was saved prior to my baptism because God's spirit gave me an inner peace that is not describable. Some churches focus solely on water baptism being the only way to heaven, as if Jesus death on the cross and resurrection isn't enough for our sins. Again, thank you.

Mr. Shuttlesworth, Thank you very much for answering the question about water baptism. As a Catholic I was Baptized at two days old. Due to being raised within the Church and it's teachings I have always felt that my Salvation was secure. Within the last few years, several of my Born Again Christian friends have been trying to convince me that I wasn't worthy of the gates of heaven unless I was because I was not aware of being baptized. I refused to believe them. I have always known Jesus and fulfilled the Biblical requirements for my salvation through my Catholic upbring. Thank you for your reassurance by covering this subject in your teachings. May the good Lord bless you, in Jesus's name I pray.

I thought this would have been important to be added to the video. I am in the infancy of my faith but I would like more context on this. It would seem to make it more controversial to me. Nonetheless, we should obey Jesus command and be baptized asap.

The church we have been attending, the pastor has told my husband that water baptism is not necessary. I want to be baptized. We live Ohio and can’t find a good church. Thank God we have you to learn from..

Could you do 1 on all nations deceived by pharmakeia? Asking because of the you know what. Could that be part of what's happening with the you know what? I'm in different Christian groups and I see it often. I see arguments I don't participate in. Just wanted to understand that scripture better. 😊

Thank you Evangelist Tiff, just today me and my sister had this very same conversation, well more like an argument, she was saying that we are not save, unless we are Baptiste in the name of Jesus Christ, and that baptism in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit, is not the true baptism, those are not the Name of Jesus Christ.
She use that very text Acts 2:38 said we have to be baptist in Christ name.
I try telling her that she is taking the verse out of context, but she is firm in her believe and didn't want to hear any other reason
