Is Baptism in Water Required for Salvation?

Some Christians like to point out how the (thief) man on the cross was saved even though he was not baptized in water. That man up on the cross did not have the opportunity to quickly jump down and find water to get baptized. But you are NOT hanging on a ROMAN cross. You can go find water and get baptized IF YOU WANT TO. Jesus is calling men and women who are willing to get baptized in water, who are willing to repent of their sins, who will STOP making excuses, and who will just follow HIM! Are you like the Christian who is continually making excuses why you cannot follow Jesus? Or are you ready to trust and obey and to DO the work of a disciple? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
