I think a lot of people confuse being a good and decent person with being passive or people pleasing. A guy that kisses your ass isn’t necessarily a kind person. He’s a scared and desperate person. That’s “the nice guy” that many women either reject or think they want at first and eventually lose respect for. A man can be strong and masculine and truly kind at the same time. Women don't want a 'nice' guy, they want someone with a backbone who'll stand and fight when it's needed. Just make sure you're right and you're proportionate, nobody likes a bully.
