Something to keep in mind is that God doesn’t forbid the use of statues. He forbids the worship of them. In the Bible, God even commands certain images and statues be made in many instances.

To be honest they'll do it even after you inform them they're wrong because they trust men more than scripture and always seeking truth. But this tends to work I'll say, Well protestants worship a cross without association to Christ because had you had association to Christ your focal point would be Christ on the cross dying so that we may have eternal life. But instead you worship wooden beams without Christ. Your lifting the fross up to be worshipped. Cuz that's all you say. The cross the cross the cross. How bout Jesus on the cross. do you like it? If i was a hindu, and never saw a Christian in my life and suddenly a person appeared that prays to a woman, has thousands of statues and images of that woman, kisses said images, how does is that different from worship?
