Most take it for granted that Christians worship on Sunday, but the Sabbath God established was actually on Saturday. How did the change occur, and what do we do about the Sabbath today?

The word of God never changes, man trys to change the word of God.

As much as Jesus resurrected on Sunday, he did not set it as a memorial for his recreation.
He also said that he has not come to remove the law but to fulfill it.

"Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy" 💯

Be mindful that this is the only commandment that says “remember” the sabbath day to keep it holy. It later go’s on to say the 7th day is the sabbath day. So from Sunday to Friday do all of your work and rest on the day the lord has blessed us with. We cannot change a commandment 💜

In Spanish, we get the hint when Saturday is "Sabado" and Sunday is "Domingo". The language recognizes the day of Sabbath and the day of our Lord

Jesus had sabbath on Saturday. From friday at dusk to Saturday at dusk. The Ten Commandments say to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. That is good enough for me. There is no 8th day of the week.

That why the 4th commandments start with remember because god knew alot of people would forget about the sabbath

The Sabbath was created at the creation of all---BEFORE there was an Israel or Jew. It is NOT therefore "the Jewish Sabbath----It was NOT Israels Sabbath---It WAS created for all mankind.

Seventh day is the Sabbath day of the Lord ❤🙏 Let us seek more for the truth and Ask for the Holy spirit to enlighten us 🙏 Let us not depend from another's mind but seek for truth by our own and God will help us! 💖 God bless everyone!

Today's Lesson:
DO WE STILL NEED TO ABIDE BY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?
WHY THE LAWS STILL APPLYS!
Many modern Christians believe that because Jesus kept the law for us, that we no longer have to follow the commandments. They believe that God's Grace revoked his laws.
Jesus made it quite clear in the book of Matthew that God's law is infallible.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the law, or the prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”- Matthew 5:17
Jesus continues by telling us what will happen if we fall away from the commandments.
“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven”-Matthew 5:19-20
In Roman's, written after the crucifixion of Christ, the Apostle Paul reminds us that the commandments still apply, by recalling to us what they are.
“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For
this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”- Romans 13:8-10
Clearly the laws of God are still important and are valid after the death of Christ. Jesus died for the opportunity for us to repent for our sin, not for us to freely live in it.
The commandments of the old testament are the commandments of the new testament, as God, Jesus, the Prophets, and Apostles have reminded us to keep and obey them.
“Love the Lord, your God, and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commandments always.”- Deuteronomy11:1 BIBLE FACTS

Jesus and the apostles observed The Sabbath. He would have told the apostles if He wanted Sunday to be kept instead. He said, if you love me keep my Commandments ❤

“And the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it, and holds fast my covenant— these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Isaiah 56:6‭-‬7

And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
Mark 2:27‭-‬28

Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:19

“Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy” PLUS “Come unto me and I will give you rest.” Never thought about it that way, thanks Father 👍❤️

In other Words, nowhere in the Bible are we told to worship on a Sunday. That was a law we created on our own. Man's law, not God's law.
