My parents enrolled me in Catholic school where I started the 1st grade. For the next three years I saw things that bothered me within their school system and Sunday mass. The nuns were both verbally and physically abusive of students and told us not to read the Bible for only they could teach us its true meaning. In the church building itself, many would kiss the feet of statues and pray to Mary. Lastly, I was expelled from the Catholic school because the priest would not forgive my sins when I came to him in the confessional booth. Today, Christ is my Savior, not the Catholic church. I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ who died for me on the cross.

the biggest mistake humanity has made in terms of doctrine is assuming that church is a building or an institution. the BODY of Christ is the CHURCH. WE are the BODY when we come together to worship. THAT is the true church, not some pedo building.

I suggest you reach out to talk to a Catholic apologist like Trent Horn and put these objections to them. Would be a good educational video.
