Anyone ever doing serious weight loss knows this is true.. I was there multiple times and it gets discouraging no lie but I plan to get back.. it's tough man doing the same thing but seeing this and taking accountability is what is only going to motivate you to get there.. ugh

Keeping the cortisol low, getting enough sleep and carbs are really key. I've definitely learned this the hard way, cutting too aggressively and being constantly stressed. Getting the body more relaxed can give that swoosh weight loss

This is actually really good advice. You really have to drop the calories and increase the cardio gradually. Too much of a deficit will just leave you with no energy which will make you weaker and lose muscle. When cutting a cheat day 1x per week (around an extra 500 - 1000 cals) will give you something to look forward to, keep you sane, boost your metabolism and refuel your body.

4lbs a month is 500 deficit per day. I find when you're really lean already even this is hard to sustain for long periods of time. I did a DEXA a few months ago clocked me 11.7% would say I'm probably close to 10% now and finding good results on a 500 deficit with 2-day refeed every other week (500 surplus). You gotta be patient that's the key. These transformations people post online are exceptional and the truth is most people should be cutting way slower. The faster you cut the less likely you are to maintain it as well.

You shouldn’t cut calories you should just cut sugar if you’re cutting protein or fat you’re depriving your body of the nutrition it needs which will spike cortisol and block fat burning
