I wasted all my years in gaming, fast food and drugs which spiraled into depression. At the age of 32 I changed everyting lost 50kg, went back to college to gain several qualifications. I years later I've seen unbelievable success and now on to the next chapter.

The struggle of choosing between “saving money for the future, and having fun now but not have enough for tomorrow”

What the hell happens between 40-80, I feel like everyone is scrambling to live a full life in their 20s, and they'll become old and wise in their 30s. But holy shit, we live till 80. I feel so pressured all the time to party and enjoy life, but honestly, I'm still processing through a lot of unresolved emotions and I'm just starting to learn who I am.

I just turned 23 a few weeks ago. I feel so behind, but I've finally slowed down and learned to find peace with it.

It's a marathon, not a race.

40-year-old serial entrepreneur here. Work hard in your 20s, but also have fun. There is a brief window where you’re young and eager to explore life. Don’t waste it being all business all the time. Go to parties, travel, hook up, and experiment in all the ways that appeal to you. It won’t feel right if you wait until you’re 30+ to start scratching that itch, and there’s nothing sadder than someone 50+ trying to live the fun life they postponed in their 20s.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do a lot in my 20s it was a lot of trial and error but at least I tried. In my 30s I’ll know what to do better 💪

I'm changing at age 29! Never felt better. I ran away from my problems and used pleasure to cope instead of facing hard truths. But not anymore. 🎉

This is such a dilemma everyone will feel in my 20’s I worked out, dated, finished college, and worked my current career, I have a home and 2 kids with my wife. I maintain contact with many friends and family and a lot of them like me feel like our 20’s were wasted and we did nothing. I always regret never traveling and being single in my 20’s as opposed to my brother who skipped college and won big on the lottery and indulged in his desires, He even told me he wished he was more like me growing up 😂 the irony this life gives you sometimes is so fucking funny, and not matter what you will unfortunately always try to live out each day like it’s the best day. In all honesty tho it’s still a day to day thing me and many others will struggle. So don’t regret anything you have being given the right to live through

The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich. These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

I am so glad that I saved up in my twenties and waited until I was 32 to waste most of my time and drink every day. Now that I'm in my 40's I have so much more time for video games than I ever did a couple of decades ago and have a fully paid for condo. It's all about priorities.

People always told me that I am way too serious for a 20something year old. That I am 'wasting' my twenties by not partying more. Now I am 30 and I am one of the few of my friend group that has a kid, married, large house almost paid off and by far the best job. A job even I thought was unattainable by 30... It all stems of my constant gaze at the future. It gives me pleasure to plan ahead and invest. Now I use my money and time to see the world with my wife and daughter without any worries.

The biggest mistake people in their 20s make is not investing enough energy into building a strong foundation for the rest of their lives. People tend to focus on chasing pleasure in their 20s, and don't realize the cost this will have on their future.

invest your energy wisely in your 20s: compound interest, purchasing power, and the five best assets to invest in.

Compound interest is a financial concept that shows how small investments can grow into much larger sums over time.

Purchasing power refers to how much you can buy with your money. Your purchasing power tends to decline as you get older because you have more responsibilities and your health starts to decline. This means that the energy you have in your 20s is more valuable than the energy you will have in your 30s and 40s.

The five best assets to invest in are productive capital, spiritual capital, intellectual capital, social capital, and physical capital.

Its never too late to start. Im almost 30. And had no time and energy left due to trauma and mental abusiveness. So I was mainly struggling and mainly focusing on getting out of this shithole, and to be fair I did it quiet good. Could be better of course, but yeah, What I want to say is even if no one is there to help u to get u trough life, at least you have yourself, dont let yourself down and keep moving forward.
