Your the only person I've found on the internet giving cleaning tips who recognizes that cleaning and sustaining that lifestyle has just as much to do with the mindset and emotions as the physical aspect of it. Thank you so much!

That was awesome! I keep decluttering, but know the changes need to be “ holistic”. Thanks for the encouragement

I have also thought about this concept, but you express it so well. I have thought about "why does people think minimalism is just about the stuff?" As I see it the stuff we have or don't have is more an means to an end, it's not the purpose of minimalism itself.

Lovely video and can totally relate as felt it was going nowhere going over rooms and stuff.
Listening to your videos have found has shifted my mindset
Less stuff is coming into the home.
Thinking more about what I need in each room to benefit me.
Focusing on true goals of being debt free and having less maintaince at home and simplified systems.
Small daily habits of resets and removing items.
Suddenly am seeing the whole holistic picture.
Thank you for your time to share your thoughts to help others on the journey.

This video was just what I needed as I move from decluttering to really changing my mind and emotions so that I make it a lifestyle, which is what I truly want. Sometimes I feel myself slipping backwards, starting to worry, feeling guilty, and other negative emotions. Thank you so much for helping me to understand the choices I make. Hugs.

Wow !!! Girl ... Thanks so much. You just made me realize the mistake I was making over and over. Decluttered so many times yet I find myself in the same position in a month or two. Thanks so much for this video. I will now look into the 100% instead of the 20% as mentioned. Cheers

I think you put this very nicely. Thank you very much!

I have a SYSTEM for running my house. I need a SYSTEM for maintaining clutter free living. I don't have one. Just pieces, and not enough of them.

Yes! I belive you are soo right! Decluttering and minimalism does not equal. I am not a minimalist when it comes to how much I own. But I have minimalist behaviors and lifestyle. (Not clothstyle though) For instace I don’t like shopping. I have lots of cloths but in different capsules and I buy as good quality as I can afford and wear the things for years and years. My husband and I have a system for decluttering the stuff that do come in our homes. I think you can love just a part of minimalism. Like how to style a house or an appartment. How you dress or other areas. I think lots of people wants the minimalistic style but not really the lifestyle. Then you struggle! I have a genuin love for the things I own. I loove taking care of it and organizing. We moved a year ago and I love the fresh start and to organize new systems. I think the holostic way of looking at your life is the only way to be content with you life. And I really do that! Loove your videos! I feel, as a minimalist at hart, that I belong here as much as the people with very few things ❤️

Minimalism shouldn't become obsessive decluttering.

Ohh. So holistic vs wholistic...not that both can’t be done. lol. I think my one problem (?) is that I keep trying to “improve” it more and more as if to get to some big pinnacle of zen or something. Kinda like getting caught up in that as if to be driven when I should just pause at each plateau and enjoy the results of the last thing for awhile. Prob the same reasons why I call myself “good enough girl” quite on purpose (even when I don’t always believe it lol).

Well you know at some point you prob need to say it’s decluttered enough. It’s clean enough. I look and smell good enough. I’m conscientious enough. I’ve done enough work or I’ve helped others enough. It’s organized enough. Etc.
