Yes, you can meal prep healthy food even if you're on a budget! I'll show you how to meal prep 11 individual ingredients and turn those into 7 nutrient-dense, quick-assembly meals throughout the week. This is my tried-and-true method for getting healthy food on the table fast - and you can save money!

Unlike most budget meal prep videos that (let's be honest) use cheap quality ingredients, I don't sacrifice quality in this video. All of my ingredients are high-quality and/or organic ingredients. But if you opt to not use organic ingredients, the total price of your meals will be even less!

I can't tell how much I appreciate your generous gift of TEACHING this kind of cooking. Many people eat out or eat processed food because they have not been taught the art of cooking nutritiously and thoughtfully. My husband used to ask me to create a NGO to teach impoverished populations how to cook and get them out of the cycle of processed foods and metabolic disease.

Tip for not Crying: Always refrigerate the onion prior to chopping it, this inhibits the gases to escape and will not make you cry. What I usually do is I always keep ONE onion in the refrigerator and the rest I store in my pantry in a cool dry place. Once I use the one in the refrigerator, I immediately replace it with a new one. This works for me every time. I hope it works for you. Thank you for this video and congratulations on your new book.

White potatoes actually have about the same nutritional value as sweet potatoes. White potatoes have a bit more potassium, protein, and carbs, while sweet potatoes have more vitamins A and C, and have slightly fewer calories. The differences are pretty minor, so just go based on taste, budget, and dietary needs

This absolutely exceeded my expectations. I never learned to cook so I am always overwhelmed by most recipes and give up before trying, on top of that I am a picky eater and usually can't find anything I like. Everything you presented here is extremely easy to prepare, the meals are varied enough that I can just leave out ingredients I don't like, and there is so much choice. Thank you!

What a blessing you are! I am 5 days into my 40 day fast with no sugar, grains, or dairy and these recipes are perfect. I am so excited to try them out!

you mentioned in this video that you cry while cutting onions. I have a trick for you that someone taught me last year. if you fill a bowl with water and set it right next to the cutting board while you cut the onion you wo t cry. There is some sort of reaction that happens when you cut the onion and if you have water close by it seems to be attracted to that instead of your eyes.

I am retired so meal prep isn't exactly necessary for me as I enjoy spending time every evening to cook. But your videos are incredible and help enormously with ideas of what to eat. Being single I have to adapt them a little and living in France I may not find the same goods. But thank you for keeping this 71 yr old single gentleman interested in cooking.
