Mai is without debate one of the most underrated characters in the entire series. People kept having crushes on Ty Lee and Azula, but I was like "Zuko got some serious taste in silent women and I agree with him"

"It will be interesting to see zuko again won't it mai?" That also indicated they would get together. Ty Lee said that at the start in season 2.

In book 2 ep 3 at the end Ty lee notes that it will be intresting seeing Zuko again even teasingly addressing Mai. While Mai looks away and blushes with a remarkably happy smile and this is in their first episode so it was actually set upp.

But Mai broke up with Zuko at the “Promise” comic, and in the “Smoke and shadow” comic, She ends up dating a guy that works for her father, but at the end of the comic, the guy broke up with Mai which opens a whole new world of confusion, but I’m pretty sure that the creators have conformed that Mai is with Zuko, but not sure though

She holds them on her legs!
I've seen these in a storage box, they're like Garters but they have loops of elastic material or buttoned leather flaps which are the perfect shape for throwing-knives.
Female Assassins and Bodyguards often wear them to look stylish and kick butt at the same time.
Before she pulls out her knives she always bends as if to stretch her back but what she's really doing is pulling the knives from her legs and then throwing them.
It also makes sense if she also stores them in her sleeves, because if your legs are pinned down, it's good to always have a backup.

I’m sorry, fans of the series were surprised that Jin didn’t want to keep dating the Prince of the Fire Nation who conquered her city?
Also the entire point of Zuko’s story in Tales of Ba Sing Se was to show him that he could make a good life for himself in the city. That he didn’t need his fathers love and acceptance in order to enjoy life and be happy. It’s the planting of a seed of doubt.
