Who did Zuko Marry and Who is the Mother of Firelord Izumi. I have some evidence to prove who it is.

"I love Zuko more than I fear you." This line solidified the Maiko ship for me. Still remember that scene to this day.

It's 100% chance mai. Their child's name is "izumi", which means fountain in japense. Fountain is where zuko and mai had their first moment.

Yeah I believe that Mai is Izumi’s mother. Izumi’s personality and not to mention physical appearance looks too similar to Mai for it not to be a coincidence.

Her mother has to be either Mai or Jin, because her name literally translates to "Incident at the fountain".

Pretty sure Mai and Zuko got married and had a kid, and Mai died earlier than Zuko. Toxic as you may think, they were actually in love. They always were. Politics in the Fire Nation were probably savvy, too, so I think marrying within the Fire Nation was Zukos safest bet even if he did prefer another woman over Mai.

Suki: He burned down my village while beating me and the other Kyoshi Warriors up.

Everybody talks about how Mai is incompatible with Zuko because she’s so detached from her emotions, but it’s entirely possible that once she finally has a chance to be herself and fully love someone without worrying about her family’s reputation, that she begins to open up

can we all just take a moment to realize that zuko's the only male character out of the entire first avatar group to still be alive, seeing as females live longer than males I'm still shocked as hell.

I kinda find it annoying how people in LOK or ATLA don’t have much back stories on their lives and what happened after the war or before. Like Zuko’s unknown wife or Uncle Iroh’s wife Lu ten’s mom.
