You're in a deficit at 2800 calories? I'm jealous. 1500-1800 is deficit territory for me, and it's not easy.

Hi Dr. Mike. I'm a woman and work out 4 to 5 days a week. I have severe degenerative disk disease and couldn't workout for more than 12 years. It took about 10 years to find a good physical therapist who understood my injury and give me a program that works. I do have to be creative with my exercise program because there are exercises I must avoid. I mainly do different forms of HIIT training 2 x to 3x a week (using light weights) and weight training 2x a week. And I changed the way I eat. I DO NOT cut out carbs. I need those carbs for energy, especially for HIIT training. I also increased my protein intake and most important watch the calories. I can see a huge improvement.

I know people who used to stick to 100 grams of carbs. They went from 25% body fat too 12% BF in 10 weeks . They did feel hungry but that's when you burn fat and in only 10 weeks you look AMAZING then you can start reverse dieting. With a longer strategy people will be dieting for too long then give up eventually

The amount of calories may suite people with good genetics and the body type. An endomorph eating these many calories especially bread will definitely end up being a disaster.

I don't think he's added salt to anything
And he's eating at a high level which I'm interested to see how this all turned out.

I don't know why he doesn't eat egg yolk it's excellent for the body and for your eyes

I have been on a small (?) caloric deficit for the past 3-4 years and losing 30 kg (66 lbs) during this time. I never imagined that you could eat as much as in this video and still lose bodyfat. As I lift weigts more now, I just have to understand to eat more. 😅
