Replace the word love with the narcissists name and the truth is revealed. It becomes clear that the narcissist are none of those things. They are infact the opposite of the biblical "definition" of love.

Very true... He took a snapshot of me when he first met me when I was 20 years old. I was young, pretty, fit, and youthful. That snapshot of me that he took is how he expected me to remain for the rest of my life. They expect us to be that perfect image that they stored in their mind at first sight. When they realize that we are imperfect human beings that age, they start the devaluing, and then discarding phase. It's a never-ending cycle. They are trapped in a make believe fantasy world. Nothing is real with them. It's all an illusion.

They need you desperately and are very fragile about it. They overreact in bizarre ways about the most ordinary things, even visiting someone in hospital. It feels like clingy love but it’s entirely their own need and they will punish you for “leaving” them.

Yes. My Christianity is center in my life. He told me that he was converted to Christianity and we dated for 2 years. At the end of 17 years of abuse that started at our honeymoon, he said that he never was a Christian, and that God is the biggest joke of the universe; he just said that to have me. What a cruel heart!

Why on earth would his parents try to prevent Sheri's parents from reburying her and the boys closer to where they live? I can't imagine their justification for adding to her family's pain by making them go to court over this. They are just as selfish as their son.
