So, you can consume marine oil supplements that have been shown to often be oxidised and contain aldehydes. Even with the same brands, one batch can be worse than another batch, or worse based on age.

Alternatively, you can eat some fish occasionally. Agreed that not all fish is good these days, mostly due to nano/micro-plastics, but I will stay with eating small fish a few times a week. Heavy metals are not so much of an issue with small fish.

I have used fish oils for many years, I am now 80 I have no arthritis and am not on any medication I look at least 15years younger than my age! I am more recently low carb just to keep my weight down so if you need any more proof of the efficacy and long term health benefits here it is!!!

Doc, Grass-fed beef and lamb have a great amount of Omega-3s but it's cheaper to make meat that is not grass-fed. Maybe the people supplement because they can't afford grass-fed beef?
