If you to grow bigger legs, you need to build the quads and the hamstrings. Let me show you exactly how to do that.

1. Goblet squats
2. Walking lunges
3. Leg extensions. Point your toes outward to target the inner quads. Then point your toes inward to target the outer quads
4. Leg curls. Point your toes outward to target the outer hamstrings. Point your toes inward to target the inner hamstrings
5. Dumbbell split squats

And if you want an actual good selection do

1. Any squat variation that you can overload on (quads and glutes)

2. A hip hinge like Romanian deadlifts (hamstrings and glutes)

3. A seated leg curl (hamstrings)

4. A leg extension (quads)

5. Any calf raise variation (calves)

6. Additionally lunges or split squats for unilateral quad and glutes volume (not really necessary)

All you need is a hinge, a squat, and an exercise with an extreme range of motion like a deficit split squat or a hack squat and a leg curl

If you have knees like mine the only thing angling your toes will do is blow your knees out. Do whats safe for you but test new things first. I've got platelar maltraction in both knees, meaning my knee caps slide all over the place as they go through their range of motion. This results in extreme instability when the angle of my foot is anything but straight. If your legs do anything like this don't start messing with them. Train safe everyone.

What about the barbell back/front squat?Its a lot better than goblet squats because your arms will give out way before your legs

RDLS, Leg curls, Bulgarian split squats and leg press do the job for me, I hit calves but always either with push day or on my cardio day

Hey I am a 13 year old and I do not have a lot of equipment and the nearest gym is a decent distance from where I live so if you could do a video on substituting some things for other equipment that would help a lot

I've had two knee operations and both times the doctor/ surgeon asked if I use this machine.. he says it is literally suicide for your knee cartilage and after 2 times having mine repaired I believe them
