Good tips. (I had the problem some time ago that I could only relax the bow with pliers, it was a bit scary. The violin maker then shortened the hair. By the way: I once learned that even the hair of the relaxed bow should still remain in shape).

Would you say that if you over tightened your bow, the sound becomes more shrill and it’s harder to keep the bow on the strings?

I have most definitely over tightened my bow 😅 I can tell just by the shape, but I can still play it pretty well so I’m a little confused as to the repercussions
