I've had a meniscectomy 3 months ago. My knee gets swollen and hurts if I do twisting motions or do sharp cuts when I run. It gets swollen overall after exercise. Is this normal? If not then how can I fix it and stop my knee from swelling. Please answer I really need help, thanks.

I have to chuckle as I do all those type of exercises and more (I'm U.S. Marine combat vet who is 57 and only weigh 148 lbs and can squat 365lbs for 3 honest reps)...BUT I was running hill sprints and typical to me was so impressed with myself I thought what the hell rather than jog down I'd do Karaokes (the lateral football drill)...finished the workout and felt tremendous (i.e. was ready to throw up...lol), but the next day my knee swelled up and I couldn't even walk...I've had so many sports injuries I knew it was a meniscus tear...anyway I'm on about week 2 now and making good progress...I figure 3 months and I'll be able to get serious again....but hopefully smarter (That ain't gonna happen...I always push too hard)...anywho nice vids, they helped.
