Kellgren-Lawrence (K/L) #KneeArthritis Grading System:
K/L system was originally described using Anterior-Posterior #kneeXrays. Each #radiograph is assigned a grade from 0 - 4 to denote increasing arthritis severity, Grade 0 = no presence of arthritis and Grade 4 = severe disease:

Grade 1: possible osteophytes + doubtful narrowing of joint space narrowing
Grade 2: definite #osteophyte + possible joint space narrowing
Grade 3: definite osteophytes + moderate diminution of joint space narrowing
Grade 4: large osteophytes + greatly impaired joint space + severe sclerosis/bony deformity
