My husband has been telling me for years that he will practice yoga with me NEXT TIME! Today I found this! A man he can relate to, clear, easy to follow instructions and the challenge of 30 days. He is in, he sweated like a pig, and he is planning on day 2 tomorrow. That, my yogi friends, is what I call a win!

I love love love how you don't talk too much with a plain non-emotional tone of voice. Everything you say is concise, precise, efficient, and there's actual moments of silence during the practice when nothing needs to be said. You call it a butt instead of "sits bones" and don't talk to us like we're terrified 5 year olds. I'm so glad I found your channel!

Hi! I am further along in the course, but I wanted to leave a comment here in case it's helpful for people who are checking it out. This is the best 30-day yoga course I have tried on Youtube (I've done several). Tim's approach is to give you a very similar sequence each time, which allows you to really get to know the postures and feel like you are making progress in them. His instructions are easy to follow, and he is aware of and addresses hamstring tightness, which not all yoga instructors take the time to do. His sequences also strike the right balance between challenging and simple, which is perfect if you use yoga to supplement other exercise practices like running or weight training.

Side note to Tim - I misread your name as Tim Sensei every time. Tim-sensei!

After a 2 week injury and not working out AT ALL I’m starting the whole coarse over. This is A great way to ease back into a workout routine!

@yogawithtim Back in 2020, I was in the best shape of my life, and I began this 30 day challenge to get back to the basics and work out any kinks i hadn't worked on before. I found this series profoundly beneficial. Three and a half years later, I am in the worst shape of my life, recovering from illness and burnout and injuries. I am once again returning to this after three years. Boy was this first video a CHALLENGE. I wanted to quit almost at the beginning. And i decided, OK, I'll just skip this next step and I'll keep going and do what I can. I'm glad I didnt give it. I finished the video and feel amazing! Today was my first day. Boy that was hard, I am heavy and do not work out at all so it was very hard but i loved it. I hope I can keep up with it. I am doing this to better my mental and physical health. :) see you tomorrow ♡

I am in recovery from severe emotional trauma and am looking for a way to take care of my body, mind, and spirit. I came across your challenge in looking for a way to start exercising that was gentle and also calmed my anxiety. I have tried a lot of yoga channels before, but you really convey such an amazing mix of calm and strength. I absolutely loved day one.
Additionally, I have had a double mastectomy and my implants were placed underneath my pectoral muscles, which have made doing poses that engage my chest muscles almost impossible. Your instruction in about the proper way to turn my arms/armpits, actually allowed me, for the first time, to do so many poses that were impossible. Thanks you.

I've been following your yoga videos for sometime. This Day 1 video is excellent. Your instruction really helps to reinforce the correct posture. I've never known an instructor give such spot on direction. Thank you so much! My goal is to have quit smoking by the time I complete your 30 day course, which will actually be 60 days as I like to run every other day! Yes, I smoke AND run! Silly, I know!

WOW, you are really good. it felt like having a personal instructor in my living room. great teaching style. i really appreciate how you didn't chatter about silly things like the other videos. it was easy to keep up without having to stare at the screen. you described how to correctly position the body . Superb class, I feel invigorated !

Mildly frustrated with engineering finals. Starting my 30 days of yoga tonight, at midnight. I've been inactive, just months of sitting in front of my computer for about 12 hours a day. My body is in need of this. I NEED THIS! Namaste, everyone. Hitting play! 👱🏼‍♀️🌸

Tim is truly giving everyone the gift of yoga. I’ve been teaching yoga for 22 years and haven’t found a teacher I liked this much! My husband and I love to practice together now. These videos are well sequenced and instructed. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful practice and dog ❤️🇨🇦
