It's interesting how the workouts and physical training in the Marine Corps are planned scientifically.

Even outside of the service, a regular physical regimen also has benefits for a person's attitude and mental well-being. It's a healthy stress reducer.

I wrestled played football and baseball was constantly camping fishing and hunted but when I went in in 91 I was 6’3” 230 and I was still a fat body I came out at 190 lbs I failed and had to go to pork chop platoon for two weeks just to lose 10 pounds to do pull ups. Listen to the recruiter and run run run and run some more hike step mountains push your self before you get their do yourself a favor.

Honestly the workouts at boot camp weren’t that bad. It was just the hiking for me

Run make sure u can run 4 to 5 miles easy if not work on that u have have to run 3 miles twice in training and hike the runing is a pain be ready to run run run run everything else is easy

If you can run at least 2 or 3 miles and can do 25 pushups and 15 pull-ups and do 60 crunches you’ll be okay as long as you’re not stupid or crazy or a wussy.
