Honestly i got no brand loyalty. Depends on what's on sale or what my bro's want to hand down

4090 is the best GPU on the market. But if you’re looking for the best GPU on the market at certain price points below the 4090. AMD always wins since the FPS per dollar ratio has always been the best.

The 7700xt is such a great card for its price. I love mine for 1440p

Nvidia GPUs are pretty versatile, especially with CUDA and Tensor cores that give them an edge in AI tasks, which are becoming a big deal. They absolutely smash AMD in AI tasks like training and running language models models locally. They also do great in 3D modeling and video editing. On the flip side, AMD GPUs offer awesome gaming performance at a more affordable price and are generally more energy-efficient. So, if gaming is your main focus and you want the best bang for your buck, AMD is a solid choice. But if you need a GPU for a mix of tasks, including AI and content creation, Nvidia might be the better option.

I'm team "Whatever fits your needs, whatever you get a deal on, or whatever you get handed down from a sibling/parent/friend."

I will say AMD usually has better performance-to-cost ratio, and NVidia has better driver compatibility.

Use afmf for story games give you double fps with little input lag and don’t require that game support for frame generation. You can basically run your gpu with maximum frequency without problem. In cs2 if you got a high refresh rate monitor, consider enable vertical synchronization to get a constant frame time and less fps drop.

Im using a 3060ti right now. Its been doing well but when i upgrade in like 3 or 4 years ill probably go with amd solely cause budget

Tips? Always keep rt off, dont use fsr it doesn’t look that good and besides most of the 7000 series are fast enough to not need any extra perf. Can mess around with overclocking memory overclocking and undervolting in Adrenalin.

Wouldn't it be better to buy something like a RX 7900 GRE instand? Since the RX 7700 XT is a downgrade from the RTX 4070 TI

I would run what ever is a better value at a set price point for this build I ended up grab a 3080 12gb from evga for a decent price. Its been a solid card and paired really well with my 5800X3D

Do a clean install with DDU before replacing the drivers to AMD

Just decided to upgrade my 1660ti and went with the 7700xt for $350 instead of the 4060ti. Hope the choice was right 🤞

If amd made a 4090 equivalent they would need a nuclear power plant to power it and make new pc cases just to fit it in 😭

Amd until we get to that higher mid range build or high end builds only because of the ray tracing and dlls
