Are you a gamer BUT also content creator, 3D designer, work with AI or do video editing?
Definitely Nvidia

Are you an eSports only gamer?
Almost definitely AMD

Do you care about AAA gaming with good Ray Tracing and FPS with DLSS but also casually play FPS games?
Get the best deal available, might be Nvidia might be AMD

Don't be a fanboy, favoritism will put you in a disadvantage

Also I personally think if you wanna go all black build, Reference and XFX AMD cards are just on another level of beauty you can't compare any Nvidia card to that

As a 3d artist, im basically dependent on nvidia’s cuda cores, i could use amd but a job that takes me 20 hours on a nvidia card takes me 60 on a amd card

Reflex + boost is WAY underrated.

The input lag reduction alone is AMAZING for AAA games like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite.

What i gotta respect Nvidia for is that they launched ray tracing which nobody can see, even the guys at Linus tech tips but it tanks the performance and then they give us dlss to get the frames up again but at slightly worse quality. And they sell both those things for money. Its brilliant.

When it comes to 3D art such as blender, it’s best to go with Nvidia. But if it wasn’t for that I’d likely go amd tbh

The Nvidia features. You get ray tracing, but they take away any sort of choice you have as far as operating system by not giving you open source drivers

Also that slight lag with dlss on is barely noticeable on single player titles. If you like cinematic single players, Nvidia is better since with both ray tracing and dlss on it makes the game more beautiful and cinematic. If you mainly focus on shooters and competitive games amd is better since you can get similar raw fps for 100$ less most of the time.
