I went with a 7900 xt. The price was almost $200 cheaper plus almost double the VRAM. It's been an amazing card for me

I have both and tbh I love the 7900xt merc Xfx edition. Higher temps but I’m just loving it. Spent 1k after taxes on my msi 4070ti white and it’s pretty but behind my 7900xt

Got the Sapphire Nitro Plus 6950XT off NewEgg before they completely disappeared for less than half the price of Nvidia’s counterpart… brand new, came with an anti sag bracket, and it’s an A tier board partner. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

I chose the 7900xt, extra features are good, but they can't make up for the lack of VRAM. If the 4070 ti had 16gbs of VRAM, I would've picked it instead.

Bro if you test the cards with Sam and rebar on the rx7900 xt is a faster card. I would not consider sam sauce as most gamers have it enabled. Also this gpus are a good price comparison but many other outlets and from personal testing with rebar and Sam on for both cards, the 7900xt is a faster card for the 4k - 1440p market it’s targeted for and that should be included in the vid because it might give the consumer an impression that since the price and performance is the same that nvida is the go to option in which it could not be the case.

I would go for the 4070ti as i play fps games mostly so no need for extra vram

I went with the 7900xt because of memory bandwidth for higher textures and higher res. I have a feeling that it will age far better than the 4070ti.

Well isn’t it better to get an nvidia card cuz it has dlss and ray tracing? and dlss also improves fps right? i don’t know much about the gpu’s but wouldn’t it be better to get nvidia bcoz it has more features? or does amd has those too?

the difference is, higher vram means you can play 4k ultra without your game turning into a slide show by hitting the vram limit

The 4070ti is what I have, and the extra sauce from Nvidia definitely makes a difference when you run it @ 4k.

Whichever fits in my NZXT H1 v2 case. Most likely an AMD GPU because they don't usually take up 3 card slots.
