Hip Exercises for Hip Instability and Hip Dysplasia

Показать описание
This is a workout for hip dysplasia and hip instability. You'll be taken on a follow along workout with exercises that strengthen your hip muscles. You'll also learn a powerful exercise to strengthen your glutes and hamstrings so your hips feel more stable. If stretching and massage are not helping your hips or if you know that you're already flexible and mobile, strengthening your hip muscles is the way to go.

As with any workout, take it slow and pay close attention to your body's responses. Don't rush or force anything. Remember that SLOW IS SAFE and fast is foolish, especially when it comes to hip pain relief.

Thank you so much. I have been doing some of those moves but I realized I have been doing them wrong. I hope you can make more those type videos with timing and clocks so that I can follow along during my exercises. Thank you again.

I could not do the smallest squat this morning. After following along I feel so much better and the tightness in my hip flexors on the one side is gone for the moment. I'll do this every second day. Just one round for them moment. The best were the circles in the air. What a difference between the two legs. Incredible. You give me hope that I will manage without a hip replacement. I have dysplasia, have to wear soles to balance out my structural leg length difference.

So far this is great. I've only done it twice one time through the set, but I definitely think it's helping. My family has a history of hip problems and I could feel something coming on, it was time for preventative care. I do regular workouts with free weights and HIIT cardio. I also do yoga, but this video works in places yoga does not. I take a whole exercise day to just do this (no heavy workouts). This is really helpful, thank you.

Omg I was having so much pain on my left hip the one without the dysplasia somehow doing the two first exercises helped a lot it was as if my muscles were tight and the bones were somehow overlapping each other now it’s all good thanks so much

These are really helping me with my hips and lower back pain. When things hurt I do different hip exercises from your videos and find the ones that work the most. Thanks so much.

Thx for the detailed program!

Laundry detergent bottles (something most people already have) also make good weights

I've been advised by my hip specialist to do pilates for my hip dysplasia.. but watching this i just know I wouldn't cope or be able to do most of these moves as my pain is so bad .. I just don't understand how ppl manage to do this exercise as ppl that have it must understand how debilitating and painful it is and understand my thinking 😢

Do you have a version for standing? I can’t kneel due to knee pain. (Even with padding).

@uprighthealth hey can you just clarify something for me? The video says you can do it 1-2 times. Is that 1-2 times every day? I don’t want to overwork myself because that has caused me problems in the past.

Hello, asking for my girlfriend: If I go find a physio doctor, what kind/type of physiotherapist should she go with? Also what should I tell the physiotherapist? She has pain on her right hip (outer).

She has been getting mixed answers from family doctors, physiotherapists, her pilates teacher, and rmt, lol.

She has been biking recently and thought it would be a great way to exercise and build strength, however her RMT told her that she shouldnt be doing that. That went the same for swimming.

Thank you in advance for reading! Great videos by the way. I shared this to my girlfriend :)

Is there any possible way to email you and talk to you about my hip instability issues? I’m really scared and I feel like you are amazing at what you do. Can we chat? Please ❤

Matt, would you consider doing a similar video for neck stability? I've lost overall stability and correct tension in the spine and my body struggles to hold itself up. Without normal spine curves, there's no anchor. I twist all over and can't do isometrics.

What if you have hip dysplasia with knee and back issues/pain, will these workouts still work or do you have other videos for this case
