Time for a google chrome vs microsoft edge 2020 showdown! In this video i'm going to be looking at how, in my opinion Microsoft Edge now has the edge over google chrome in 2020. Now built using the chromium open source code, Microsoft Edge is just like Google Chrome but faster, more secure and better features!

I don't know if it's just me but this edge does not slow my ancient PC down by eating ram. Surprisingly, it's a bit faster than chrome.

I switched to edge . After uninstalling chrome . My laptop speedup . Cpu usage drops . Battery last longer. Edge is actually good now .

As a student who does a lot of research, the "collections" thing in edge seems really helpful, almost a godsend.

Honestly, the best part of Edge is that I can sync all of my Chrome bookmarks, passwords, extensions, etc.

I just switched over to Edge after decades of using either Chrome or Firefox and I'm impressed.. I've now uninstalled Chrome and using the latest edge beta as my daily browser and loving it on my new gaming laptop

The "convert to app" feature is actually underrated... Yeah it opens in the edge browser but it's a godsend for tablet users/surface users as it mimics the actual YouTube android app/ page opened in mobile mode...

I've been using Edge for a few weeks now and noticed my laptop performance does not slow. With Chrome everything on the laptop would perform slow.

I was Chrome user, and then I move on to firefox, then finally I move on to Microsoft edge chromium base.
It's fast, not so much RAM, and link beetwen phone and pc.

I opened edge today bc i expected to make fun of how bad it was but at the end of the day i deleted chrome after importing my bookmarks and passwords and now i think ill be keeping edge bc its just so nice, , ,

I've never really heard anything about Edge but this video makes me want to check it out! I teach online and they make us use Chrome but I really like the features of Edge you mentioned here like the collections - it's like a more visual bookmarks folder, right? With a bit of Pinterest vibes - that's quite cool! And the ability for it to read out a webpage is definitely something! It can be more like a podcast then which a lot of people are turning to these days. Great review Tony!

I was an early adapter of Google Chrome back in 2009. It was like 20 MB back then and clean and snappy.
I am an early adapter of Edge Chromium and let me tell you I don't miss Chrome/Firefox a bit. I had both and now I only have edge. *Edge has EDGED Chrome and Firefox* in terms of quality but Chrome will remain popular cause non-removable on all android devices.

Hi Dawson, I have been using Edge and it is way better than Chrome for me. I use the Developer Channel to get the new features quickly. Thanks for this video. I would say Edge is mostly for business people and it is really productive. What do you think?

Never mind Chrome.... I've been using (and liking) Brave. I do like the "Collections" feature in the new Edge. I've downloaded it and will be giving it a test drive. I don't see it taking over my desktop from Brave, but I'm always open to try something new...
