Bravs has improved so much over the last couple years..from stuttery loading to almost beating chrome now. Well done to that open source team

I personally like brave mainly because of the standard adblock and privacy

Great video!

It's strange that Firefox lost almost all benchmarks test but won all page reload time tests!

I'm a lot more interested in how Edge v.s. Chrome stands when it comes to the privacy - and that includes what's installed together with the browser since Chrome comes with some silent add-ons to "improve your security" that I have discovered is fiddling with files it shouldn't.
With computer performance today and how browsers works internally many of the performance tests aren't really that simple to run. More interesting would be how much CPU+GPU power it would take to load and work with certain pages. Then in addition to that many pages have behind the scenes trackers with different sets of Javascript loaded for each load so performance tests with anything else than a predefined page is going to be quite fuzzy.

I've tested Edge, Chrome and Firefox today on my PC and Edge always achieved the best score in every benchmark. Second was Chrome.

Would be nice to see these tests done with at least ublock extension installed.

firefox constantly uses 3 gigs of ram with 3-5 tabs open…if YouTube would let me post images I would show you

every browser is amazing at what they do now and really just comes down to preference. My go to browsers are edge and vivaldi even though I use vivaldi a lot more for its privacy plus all the customizations I can do to it. Also the tab stacking feature is a must have for me in a browser now.

Man i love Firefox for many reasons but it's internal video decoder, or video player sucks, not that long ago i realized how much crisper and clearer videos and overall video streaming looks on chromium based browsers, if firefox manages to solve that, would be pretty much perfect to me.

EDIT: Answered question myself- Edge has some weird behavior with tabs, it shows more than there is in the task manager also if Edge is closed, where I ask me why?
Hey I have a question to the RAM test: Why are 13 tabs on Edge open and only 10 at the other browsers, is the content in the tabs the same?

It comes down to features/security and convenience for me etc. I actually prefer Edge. I like the features and security it has and setup and UI etc.
I don't use Chrome because of google and their incessant need to try and control the web and worse in Youtube. I get it Edge and Brave are "Chromium" browsers so they still fall partly under that.

My other choice is Firefox because it IS it's own platform and hence when Google start to force their crap into Chromium, it's there for me to use instead. But until that crap happens for real. Edge is my go to browser I just like the UI and features.

I use Firefox since 2010 (used internet explorer 07-09), tried a lil' bit of chrome and edge, but Firefox is the best! Never used opera and brave

No need to change Edge. Loads everything, has modern features and plenty of extra features unavailable in other browsers such as the pdf annotation, webshot, shopping coupons.

After using Firefox for almost two decades I switched to Brave, it's way more powerful when It comes to blocking ads, that annoying autoplay on sites and unwanted scripts. It as some glitches with hardware accel inherited from Chrome, though

Nr.1 == Edge
I have used 2 browsers for a very long time.. Edge & Chrome (or Chrome + smth else, Chrome being the main browser), and for more than 3 years, only Edge, since they fixed the sync thing.
