Other gasoline saving methods are :

1. Taking public transportation such as bus or train.
2. Converting to a natural (methane) gas car.
3. Selling your car and getting a 30+ MPG conservative small car.
4. Buying an electric car and commute less.
5. Bicycle to work or school.

BMW did intensive research to find out what gearbox is most efficient, and they came up with the 8 speed automatic. I don't know why there are 9 speeds now...

Step 2: realize that it doesn't have enough range for your daily drive.
They still need more electric charging stations and "bigger" batteries

In a video about ECO start/stop engine, he says that the ECO system saves anywhere between 3-10% on fuel. In this video it is 6-10%. So which one is it?

This is the first thing by Brian that I am disappointed in. You have 8/9 speed autos, but no CVTs on the list? No Hybrids? Come on...

8 or 9 speed transmissions? How about CVTs?

There is a car that runs on compressed air that is 100% efficient and I wonder why it isn't on the market cough oil companies. Google it and prove me wrong.

Sadly that 60% waste energy number is more like 70% and its a fact of physics and chemistry. An engine that uses burning fuel to do its thing can get 80% at most, what is physically possible.
