1. Speed Limit Cruise Control, that automatically makes your car go the speed limit.
2. HUD that tells you if any of your headlights, tail-lights or turn-signals are burned out.
3. USB Ports for playing MP3's and also for charging phones, and USB Devices
4. GPS Maps/Web Browser
5. Repair bots, that automatically comes out and fixes the car, or tows the car to a repair bot station. And self-driving technology, so the car can drive to the repair station, and also drive itself home, while you're sleeping.

Glad Im not the only one who thinks vehicles are about 100 years behind the times in an age where we still slam doors, crack steering wheels and unjust our seats.

Why do I love every video you make man? Can I subscribe specifically to this guy on CNET xP and i TOTALLY feel you on the obnoxious attempt to include their own proprietary GPS system in every car thats made today? Who doesn't use their smartphone for more intuitive GPS via Google Maps?

With all the cameras present in modern cars, it would be useful if it was possible to record video directly from those very same cameras, especially in the event of a collision.

In mazda you can configure to beep when you are reaching the speed limit (that also you can configure)

How about: please don't give up buttons in favor of touchscreen or just screen interface, not everyone can make car interface like Tesla, and I don't see anything wrong with Porsche Panamera lets say, whats wrong with AC buttons and dials and also having a knob for volume.

For me:
Daytime running lights
Side mirrors point downwards when reverse parking
Automatic windows lol
When stopped, dont have to hold the brakes
When in P or Hand Brake is engaged, simply press the accelerator to disengage
Automatic Headlights
Front and rear parking sensors
And keyless entry

Yup that would just about do it :)

#1 should be cooley's voice/persona as the navigation voice

I think when a warning like comes on the head up display should tell you what it mean and how serious it is.

LMAO.... "voice commands that emulate a moron" ... Cooley's the man

Volvo does the speed limit on the new digital display, right next to the speedo.

Here's an idea; automatic preloading of podcast and other internet media, like a Spotify playlist onto the car at night over home wireless. Internet Media is great but mobile/cellular data isn't cheap so why not basically download it on to the vehicle's hard drive over you home's wireless broadband connection rather than stream it over 3/4G. Also, what about integrated photovoltaic panels on conventional internal combustion engine cars to recharge the accessory battery. Now some electric cars & hybrids like the Nissan Leaf & the Fisker Karma have had this but I don't think I've ever seen it on a convertional cars. See, all the way cool tech stuff requires electricity to power it, which is ulimately generated by the engine burning additional fuel to turn the alternator and recharging the battery, if the battery is kept charged by solar power then the alternator can be deactivated and fuel saved

Watching this makes me sad because I drive a 2000 Nissan Quest.

1: Smart seat heating? I don't have DASH air conditioning OR heating
2: Big key fobs? I don't even have working keyless entry.
3: Illuminated speed limits? Half of my gauge cluster doesn't work.
4: What clock? My head unit doesn't have one (a working one at least).
5: My media is already all in one place. It's just a radio lol

Here's a simple technology cars need:  the ability to get me from one place to another.

Here is a simple tech. Let me know a few seconds ahead of the light turn green so I can put away my phone or book at the light.
More complex tech: Inches my car forward if I have to wait two turns on an intersection. That could be enough time to watch a or two CNET shows.

Cars need some sort of sensor to know when they need to turn the head lights on instead of relying on the driver.  So many people keep forgetting to turn their head lights on
