i'm a beginner and i'm so glad to finally find a "how to" bicep curl video with less than 3 minutes duration....the search results are just filled with videos like more than 5 minutes duration and lots of insane advanced variations and explanations, too much information for a beginner like me. I just want to kick start and i'm glad i finaly bump into a video like this

Ur actually not doing it correct, you don't have to bring the weight up that high and have to move your shoulder. This decreases leverage on your biceps and makes you use your shoulder

thank you! what to do with the chest while doing cross-body curls? they are kind of in the way of the dumbbell, maybe my elbow is too far away?

I’ve been lifting 14 years. Having some elbow pain when I curl and I either developed poor form or never took the time to develop proper form for this basic exercise.

Look up ... 'supination' it will explain jusvhow even with the proper form, ur still only using the elbow & the muscles under & behind the bi cep, with out that twist ur only using ur arm & Not isolating ur bicep

Jus put ur hand on ur bi cep & see how ur bi cep wrks, the curl barely wrks ur bi cep ... then twist ur arm, with ur weight hanging dwn even & you'll see u get more movement when u twist ur jus hand @ the wrist, now do ur curl & twist ur wrist & see ... also u should do it with the weight on the out side of your wrist, so there's No counter weight action !!!

Ur bi Cephalon curls r all wrng ! U needa do a twist @ the end of ur curl, without it ur jus doin an arm lift & not wrking the bi cep it self !!!
