How to Remove Bing from Windows 11 Start, Search, Taskbar and Microsoft Edge

If you want to remove Bing from your Windows 11 Desktop, Taskbar, Start Menu, Search, and from Microsoft Edge Web Browser then this video is exactly what you need. Let's live on the Edge. Um, no. I mean without it.

I've had a few people tell me that they cannot see Google as a list of Search Engines to add. Firstly, if your PC is a work one and part of a corporate domain, you may find it's restricted by Group Policy and there's little you can do apart from beg your Admin to change it. If however it's your own personal PC, try this...

Click "Manage search engines"
Click "Add"

In the Search Engine Field, type:
Google

In the Shortcut field, type:
google.com

In the URL with %s in place of query field, paste the following:


Click Save. There's an icon to the right of your new Google entry with 3 dots ... click that and choose "Make Default".
However Google should now appear in the drop-down list for you to select.

You have no idea how grateful I am for this video. I hate Bing with all my heart mostly because is forced upon us, very annoying. The more they want to force us to do something, the less we will do it, don't they know that in Microsoft? They probably need new or old psychology... the old saying, "you attract more with honey...'" something like that. Thank you so much for this. Bing drives me insane. Windows should come completely open to allow you to pick which browser, search engine etc each individual wants, not force bing down our throats.
