I went cold turkey eleven years ago. I was a junk food junkie and only made the shift after being diagnosed with an incurable disease. Cold turkey can be done. Although very few will be able to sustain it. The good news is, if you stay away from the processed sugar, and processed foods long enough. You will feel so much better AND never want to go back to your old eating habits. It’s a process! Be patient with you can succeed!

I'm on day 4 no sugar. Feeling fine and positive. watching endless videos on the subject. Aiming for a month but have no plan to go back to how I have been. I also have a stone to lose. Thank you for your informative video.

Dr. Becky, I know you're right about sugar being an addictive substance. I am about to go through withdrawal (again) as I clean out the fridge and pantry post-holiday.

Wow! Talking about timing! I was thinking of you two during the night last night while unable to sleep and wondering how Keith was doing! I have gotten really slack about watching my carbs and eliminating sugar so a few pounds have crept back on. 😬 Therefore, while I was awake, I decided to binge-watch your last several videos today to help motivate me and get myself back on track. Then, lo and behold, this video popped up in my suggested videos this morning. Just, WOW! Thank you so much for all the great content AND for giving us an update and sneak peek of Keith. I haven't been watching for a while. Soglad I did this morning. Great video B&K! Love the idea of adding stories from your lives, and to see that life without obesity is so much more fun. I lost about 30 kg in 2022 through low carbs, IF and keto. Goal for 2023 is losing another 20 kg to get to goal weight and cutting all artificial sweeteners🤭 from my life. You are so right that this is all about getting used to a life without the excess sweetness. Also enjoy my joga and long walks in nature. Stay blessed you two and be happy. 💛💫💛💫
