1)Eat less sugar. The more you eat, the more you crave.
2)Good quality sleep
3)Eat enough protein (typically a gram per lb of your body weight, I’m 120 so I eat 120g of protein but I work out 5 days a week as well)
4) low sugar fruit. Stop eating high sugar fruits.
5)Healthy fats

I was a heroin addict for 25yrs & sugar was almost as hard to quit(psychologically). Smoking after 35yrs was a breeze compared to sugar. I was the "candy kid"(even into my 40's), I never ate anything healthy until 2 or 3yrs ago. Still, if there is sugar around it will be eaten!! Fast... Thanks for all the help, hope all is well.

I got off sugar easily by targeting one type of food at a time. Soft drink first, sweet biscuits then, lollies...didn't take long.

It's such a freeing feeling being past sugar addiction and not being food-obsessed. Heavy carbs just make me constantly think about my next meal, versus now I am confident I won't be suddenly starving even if my next meal is a little later than planned. And I still have sugar/carbs when the occasion calls for it, but don't have trouble switching back to fat burning. Feel so much better this way!

I'm kinda surprised to not hear about drinking more water. I agree with a lot of your tips but I think not drinking enough water is a huge one too. That one makes a huge difference for my general hunger and cravings throughout the day

What helped me
1. More protein and fat helped me
2. There are a lot of sweeteners and we can make chocolate or whatever without sugar or with sweeteners
3. I drink tea.
4. Coffee with a taste of desserts without sugar.
And I didn't eat fruits and sugar for 3 months, after that, I started to be more sensitive to sweets

Hi. I was pre diabetic last year. Now I’m not. I don’t not eat sugar or fast foods during the week. Only Saturday and Sunday. I don’t want to give up on sweets 💯 but this has helped me a lot. I eat clean during the week.

"Eat more protien" is absolutely on point! Just 4 boiled eggs for my 1st meal helps me feel satisfied & I literally don't get any food cravings! I blend unflavoured marine collagen, bloomed gelatin, milk/water, frozen banana & blueberries, steamed sweet potato, instant oats & cacao for my 2nd & final meal. 8 hours of sleep & 20 hours fasting daily with 30 minutes 4kg kettle ball & 6kg dumbells exercises keep me in the best shape & mood!

Sugar is my weakness. Still have cravings, but doing better than I used to. Increased protein and healthy fats helped. Just made the yummy pumpkin chili this past weekend. I also made a soup using that bone broth. This is one of my favorite channels. I never miss a video. Thank you, Autumn!

I'm in the middle of this right now just started (again) OMAD intermittent fasting, but this time focusing on getting my protein high, my carbs moderate.and you are right, if you focus on getting enough protein you will have no room in your stomach for sugar. It is a much easier way to do it than quitting sugar cold turkey and just trying to simply willpower your way through quitting table sugar, which I've done in the past, it's awful

Easy to cut sugars when it makes your arthritis pain worse! But really in the end it comes down to self control!

What got me off of sugar and carbs was my CGM. Seeing what happened to my blood sugar after I ate something was amazingly helpful. They should be over the counter. Now I am mostly ketovore and my HgbA1C was 5.3 when I had it measured yesterday. I still want to get it down a little more. My skin has cleared up, no more adult acne and I lost 80 lbs....

I never really had a problem with fruit except for eating the occasional watermelon in a single sitting. My problem was processed sugar. I ate 8000 KK donuts in the 80s. I would eat a pound of M&Ms in a day. I could finish off a box of fudge covered Oreos at lunch. I would eat ice cream cake for breakfast. It took four months for me to transition off of sugar. It was very difficult. If I had to do over again, I would’ve gone cold turkey combined with carnivore. I lost all carb and sugar cravings the week I switched from keto to carnivore.
