Thank you. Great ideas. I kind of knew them but had forgotten. Love the sauce idea. I'm 70 and have had a lifetime of weight problems. I'm into changing now.

I lost about 100 lbs. of fat, while gaining about 25 lbs. of muscle by doing this:
1. Remember that getting your heart rate up with cardio-vascular exercise is what burns fat quickly. Your exercises MUST make your heartbeat fast. They MUST have you breathing heavily. And you must be breathing heavily and your heart beating fast for twenty (20) minutes, each workout.

Also, muscle burns fat for energy, even when you are at rest (e.g. sleeping or sitting and eating/watching television.) Do resistance exercises to increase your muscle mass.

Eliminate ALL alcohol intake. Alcohol does NOTHING good for your body nor brain, simply empty calories (sugar that your body stores as fat.

Eliminate ALL fast food. Like alcohol, very little nutritional value, lots of salt, sugar, cholesterol and fat. The sooner that you stop eating this junk, the sooner you will stop craving it.

I eat slowly. It is such a disappointment when most of the table is finished in ten minutes and I'm just getting into it. I love to cook too so making fun colorful dishes adds a lot to the meal. Thanks for your advice to your community.

Good vegan relevant advice for me...
Like the colour wheel... Purple is complementary opposite to yellow.. Aubergine and... Lemons!... Red to green is too easy! Blue and orange is tricky.... Only blueberries? Throw them in an Unhealthy blue slush puppy (fortified with vitamins and minerals.. Ha ha!!).. Mango and carrot and oranges.. Orange peppers... Saffron and marigold petals... Swede!!!

Buy some tomatoes. I would like to eat healthy, but there are only crisps in the cupboard. With salt and pepper. Pink salt. Rock salt. Sea salt. ... ordinary salt... pepper... just normal... ground. You need tomatoes.. it's a fruit though
