Thank you for this! I'm currently in a deficit and struggle to stay on track. Your tips for rice and pasta are the first ones I'm going to try. I've just been eating the zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice, but mixing them with the real thing will be more satisfying I think.

Great suggestion on the cauliflower rice. I'm going to try that. Also, finding low calorie sauces is always a challenge. More suggestions here would help a lot I think.

Thank you, great tips! I love non-fat Greek yogurt with some Splenda and a lot of cinnamon mixed together. Tastes kind of like a healthy cinnabon. Add some berries and it is amazing.

Those swaps are helpful, and I will add them to my meal planning. Because of my ovo lacto nutrition and lactose-free, I struggle to find appropriate meals to get the same amount of protein as the meals with meat. Normally I increase the plant protein amount. Any advice? Plain natural yoghurt and cottage cheese are my favourite options for snacks or meals, as there are no lactose-free versions of Greek yoghurt in my country. Your advice is always on point and easy to understand, thank you for your effort.

Hello! I'm sure you have a video on this topic, but I don't hear you mention non-nutrative sweeteners (good or bad). For those who are not opposed, mixing in some SF/FF pudding mix, to the plain Greek yogurt, is fantastic! Or, if you need to bump up your protein, mix in your favourite protein powder. This "dessert" has made my weight loss journy so much easier. FYI - I thin it out with some unsweetened almond/cashrw milk and add in fresh fruit. If I really want tp be decedant, and have the calories to spare, Ill crumble up a Fibre1 bar (+ ~ 90 kcals). Yes, there is some "sugar" 🙀, but the addition of the bar is an "occasional" treat. It's So Good! 😋

What vanilla Greek yogurt do you buy? You mentioned a 30% sugar content Greek yogurt.

I pre prepare my meals. I will eat 146g of potato 🥔 with a fish chicken or turkey burger for dinner and a salad or steamed cauliflower and yellow bell peppers. Breakfast is normal, 56g of sausage 2 eggs 1/4 cup oatmeal 28 almonds and a vitamin c fruit. My Cals for breakfast never change, dinner doesn’t change much either. I like using Greek yogurt or keifer for my wake up high protein smoothie meal with protein bar. I work 3rd shift so I eat breakfast and dinner there. I wake up and eat or have a smoothie and calculate what I will eat prior to keep my numbers right. Thanks for tips.

I don't get why keto, carnivore and fasting are so popular yet high volume/low calorie isn't. I've tried all of them and high volume/low calorie is the best by far.
