Why do You Need Honey Syrup #shorts

Raw Honey (or processed) is used in a lot of different drinks
But straight out of the jar is not easy to pour, measure, and hard to dissolve when you need to use it with iceв drinks
I already showed you how to make a simple syrup, so the same way you can make a honey syrup. it has a more complex flavor . The most common is one part of water and one part honey 1:1
To make it In the small saucepan, put water and honey. Stir it over medium or low heat until the honey is dissolved
Then cool it and pour it into a separate bottle. It's a lot easier to mix it with your iced drinks, tea, cereal, or coffee
The most popular variation is a ginger-honey syrup

This is pretty cool! Does the heat change the honey’s structure to where it only has a month’s worth of shelf life? Originally, I thought honey had an indefinite shelf life. Thank you so much for these videos!

Edit: Thank you all so much for your comments! I feel oddly knowledgeable about honey now. Have a beautiful day, friends!

i love this video, it’s not expensive, non time consuming, really straightforward and you probably already have honey and water so you can get into it

Thank you for this video, I was wondering what honey syrup is after watching your non alcoholic Winter Mojito video. Can finally try it now.

So really good life hack. If you coat the inside of your measuring spoon/cup/whatever with a little bit of olive oil (pour a little bit in and use a finger or brush or something) the honey won’t stick to it. I use this hack every time I’m baking something with honey and it works so well!

I love these videos, so relaxing to watch. I'm an alcoholic in recovery so I have zero desire to ever drink again or make mixed drinks of any kind, but I still love seeing these videos.

Tip: room temperature water will also dissolve honey. It may not be as rich as if you evaporate a little of the water but in a pinch it’s a good alternative.

🥰I love that you use honey. I use Kelulut Honey (for a sweet & sour flavor) and love the complex depth of flavor and the added health benefits.

I love this! I make this all the time, especially during the winter. Usually mix the syrup into hot water and add some lemon and ginger. Nice warm drink to get me over the winter sniffles.

One tip: if you got a gram scale measure the water and honey by weight. It's easier since you can put both directly into the sauce pan, resulting in less cleanup. In labs we always measure viscous liquids like that.
