Fermented Garlic Honey! 🤯🍯

A must try! The garlic mellows out and you can eat both the garlic and honey. Store for at least 30 days up to a few years. A few tips: Store in a cool, dry place. Burp the jar every day for 2 weeks (open the lip). Place a plate under when you store the honey.

Ingredients:
- garlic
- honey, raw and unfiltered

I did two last night
Honey and onion
Honey, ginger, and garlic
It's all marinating for around 5-7 days. Hopefully, it works 💪

You can also add ginger and turmeric root for additional health benefits.

I make mine with garlic, a few hot peppers, a splash of organic Apple cider vinegar and raw honey. Marinade for at least 20 days. Once daily flip upside down or shake to cover ingredients with honey. Release pressure inside jar by turning lid slightly till air escapes. Store in pantry, or on the counter away from sun. Lasts a year in pantry storage.

I love this stuff! It is so worth the time it takes to peel and poke the garlic cloves. This will also help to clear up dermatitis and some bacterial infections.😊

1. Where do you store it? refrigerator? Counter?
2. How long does it last? Does it expire? Should I throw it away after a certain time?

I've got some in the kitchen that is nearly a year old (I used a dozen organic garlic bulbs and a litre of raw, local honey.)
Great in salad dressing and as a yummy snack.

Yes, we’re gonna try it. I have muscle problems. Wife has health problems, breathing and stuff. Definitely gonna try this.

You can leave it to infuse much longer, months if you can resist eating them sooner, tastier, healthier honey because more allicin is infused, and the garlic becomes incredibly mild tasting, almost like candy but with all my the amazing health benefits. Eat 1-2 cloves a day and 1-2 tsp of the honey, especially in the cooler months.

I did this and added onion and lemon. Removed the onion and lemon after 3 days and left the garlic. I used some early. 🤷🏾‍♀️

when she says burp, you just crack the lid enough to hear the "burp" then re-seal. DO Not open the lid. Letting in oxygen is a pathway for botulism as well.

Or nothing but sea salt, onion & a little garlic & ginger. Water. Add maple syrup at the end of fernentation 15-30 days.
It makes a sauce condiment.
