When I used to work at McD's back in the stone age we actually used real eggs in the folded egg sandwiches. They started using beaten "eggs" in carton for convenience.

I used to work at McDonald's as a cook we use real eggs for the Egg McMuffin and liquid egg product for the other sandwiches like the McGriddle and a big breakfast plate so what you're saying isn't true they don't take eggs in the back that are small and turn them into liquid the liquid egg product come in a carton and that is used for all the McGriddles and the big breakfast plate as far as I'm concerned they use real eggs on the McMuffin that's it

Im pretty sure most people always knew not to eat mcdonalds, but after watching this video, i have now been persuaded to purchase the egg mcmuffins for REAL eggs and to consume the quarter pounder for FRESH NEVER FROZEN beef... thanks for whatever point you were trying to make.

A food reviewer on YouTube describes the kind of chicken used in McNuggets and other similar products as "formed meat slurry." Which describes it quite accurately. It's ground fragments of meat and other things that are mixed together and pressed into the required shape. A few years ago Subway's chicken was tested to be less than 50% chicken. I think they've improved.

Maybe it's different here in Canada, but I worked at McDonald's for 2.5 years in my teens, and every breakfast item that contained eggs was freshly cracked. And the fries were just potatoes in vegetable shortening with salt.

As an ex grillman and fryman I can tell you, mcdonald's was toying with the idea of doing everything with shelled eggs but once they introduced the shelled eggs for the round eggs and realized how much more time it took they dropped the idea and just kept with the round eggs.
Also the have teamed up with door dash for those areas that don't have Uber eats.
Yes it is ridiculously low when it come to pay
