It's easy to misunderstand things based on our own judgements.

There is one God almighty. He who formed the world, he who fashioned man, he who is God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, above whom there is no other God. He is the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For almost all the different sects of heretics admit that there is one God; but then, by there pernicious doctrines, they change this truth into error.

Orthodoxy (proper belief) comes before Orthopraxy (proper behavior. A person is going to behave according with their belief system. Doctrine is the stanchion that supports that theology.

It is true that people were already turning away from the truth in Paul's day.
Today, we see that false religion is now mainstream in most Christian churches.
The false church denies the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver us from sin. False ministers deny the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness. They teach that the spirit will struggle with the flesh until we die, and that there is no remedy for this condition.
In truth, we do not have both the Holy Spirit and the flesh nature. We only have one or the other.
Jesus wins the battle for us when we are Born Again. Scripture says:
Colossians 2:11
"In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ."
Jesus cuts away the flesh when we receive the Holy Spirit, and we lose sinful desires.
The Apostle Paul confirms this:
Galatians 5:24
"And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."
We dont have both the Holy Spirit and the flesh nature. Scripture tells us so:
Romans 8:9
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you."
Everyone who dies while still in their flesh has not been born again. Scripture tells us that sinning Christians are guaranteed to end up in hell:
Romans 8:13
"For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."
Jesus only gives the Holy Spirit to those who are obedient. Scripture tells us so:
Acts 5:32
"We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
The Apostle John who was taught by Jesus face to face agrees with these things.
1 John 3:9
"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
God’s grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin.
Romans 6:18
"You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness."

Amen & Amen!! The reasoning I believe is because too many people are entangled in RELIGION and not Christianity ( Christ like) walking!
As Jesus, Paul fully understood the magnitude and utter importance of the gospel of Christ, ( The 4 gospels) and true salvation which is to be as Christ like as possible or to strive for that mark and not the man made religions that separate the true followers of Jesus Christ! I am a independent Baptist by my religion, but that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me with yesusha!! ITS being a true DECIPLE of Christ through his blood, resurrection, cross, and yes the trinity and my daily walk of being saved by his grace through faith and his free gift of salvation that makes me his child, and not a religion, or works of laws!

According to our apostle paul’s ministry in The King James Bible, we are only saved by believing The Gospel of Jesus Christ, 1st Corinthians Chapter 15 verse 1-4.Jesus Christ died on the cross, shed His Blood for all of our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day.Jesus Christ Shed Blood is what saves you when you believe this plan of salvation with your heart.

False teaching is important in scripture. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Romans 16:17-18, Galatians 1:6-9, Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 4:1-3, 6:3-5, 2 Timothy 4:1-5, Titus 1:9-16, 2 Peter 2, and Jude are just some of the verses that speak about it. If we truly study these verses (and all of scripture), we will be able to discern the truth from the lies.

The "Lord´s Recovery" or "Local Church" teaches that their founder, Witness Lee, was God´s unique appointed minister of the age. They claim Witness Lee interpreted the whole Bible accurately and apart from him and his ministry you cannot really understand the Bible. They even say it's dangerous to read the Word of God directly because you will misunderstand it, so you need a qualified teacher´s interpretation, who is only Witness Lee and his ministry.

The apostle Paul knew what's going to happen after is departing from his disciples. Shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock!!! In the beginning of the Church Age many disciples left the flocks but some who stayed among the flock who were already among them were wolves in sheep clothing working on how they could stay in these flocks of disciples, babes students of the Word and not saved born again from above yet believers!!! So the only way they could stay with the flocks unknowingly was to keep preaching the truth of scriptures like the true Church members! And here we are today doing the same thing. Except by now and for past generations and centuries al I see and hear in the physical bodied Church in the public are all or mostly all apostate churches!!! And for sure on YouTube and Facebook except I only could find a handful sites on YouTube who are born again from above believers. Especially Jonathan Kleck site who was chosen to be our Father in Heaven's Messenger and Prophet very near the End of the Church Age when Christ returns for His Bride, the true Church!!!

Baby baptism is a false doctrine? Repent and be baptized is for a believing Christian. Not for unregenerate, unrepentant nonbelievers. This is the one thing that keeps me from these reformed churches. Approving of false conversions?

False doctrine, hmmmm.
So, this explains all the traditional Sunday keeping without a command. It's a tradition of men, embracing false doctrine.
It also explains why Christianity is not under one roof.
