I started off with my new job in October. For my surprise, I never thought being a college professor means having to go through massive loads of work. I honestly spend days trying to prepare for one lecture. I think part of it is still being a student with stacks of material.
Surprisingly, reading other books was possible unlike the other few months. I read Never Let me Go by Kazou Ishiguro which was phenomenal and The Underground Railroad which was good but not as much as I expected. It really did challenge my English for how hard the language was.

Ugh I hate that trope of someone making love with someone who's sleeping. gross.
I've started readign some romance this year (yeah, I'm surprised myself), but thankfully haven't found that one in the books yet.
